JERSEY CITY, N.J. | For the second time in five weeks, (NJCU)’s trailblazing women’s wrestling program has been profiled on television in New York City. On March 3, 2021, the Gothic Knights were featured on WABC-TV Eyewitness News/ABC-7 in New York as part of its Women’s History Month coverage.
The Gothic Knights — the first collegiate women’s wrestling program in the history of the state of 鶹ý and the tri-state area — were featured by Crystal Cranmore, WABC-TV New York’s Race & Culture reporter. Interviewed for the story were head coach and former World Champion and two-time United States Olympian , first-year captain and former 鶹ý state champion Sandra Guerrero, first-year national qualifier and , Associate Athletics Director for Student Development.
