The Learning Commons

Offers comprehensive support to help students to tackle academic challenges and develop key skills, such as problem-solving, analytical reading, test-taking strategies, and time management. Peer tutors are available to assist students in mastering course content and improving their overall learning abilities.

The Writing Center

Supports students at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to proofreading, with one-on-one sessions led by trained tutors. Students can schedule appointments online or visit in person. In addition, the Writing Center offers academic coaching, writing workshops, and customized sessions to support specific class needs.

Offers free, 24/7 access to expert tutors, providing academic support whenever it’s needed. Students can connect with tutors at any time, day, or night, for help across a wide range of subjects. Simply find the Tutor.com link inside your course on Blackboard to get started.

Supplemental Instruction

A student-centered academic support program that enhances learning in challenging courses through collaborative, peer-led study sessions. SI sessions focus on developing study skills, group activities, and the application of course concepts, without repeating lectures. This program is especially beneficial for historically difficult courses, helping to improve student success.
